The works are described as follows
Title 1: Fulani Boy.
Medium: Charcoal on paper.
Size: 21 by 16″.
Style: Naturalism.
Year of production: 2017.
Artist: Okeowo Joshua K.

Description: It is a rendition of a Fulani boy with sole emphasis on the facial outlook and expression. It entails a Fulani boy rendered in a monochromatic style and he is seen wearing a turban which is synonymous mostly with the Fulani tribe in Nigeria. They are known to be nomads, going from place to place seeking for pasture for their sheep. The expression on his face shows zeal, commitment and focus. They are always ready to ward off any attack to their cattle. As an artist, I love rendering faces because the eyes are the window to the soul. A lot of meaning can be deduced from faces alone.
